The Viking Squad community was created in October 2021 with the aim of bringing like-minded Cardano NFT enthusiasts together. Our community is what makes the NFT Vikings unique and is the ultimate "utility" of our project. Anyone can join the Viking Squad (no CT793 membership is required).
The Viking Squad server will continue to provide a great place to meet like-minded people in the Cardano NFT space and exchange knowledge. It is also the hub for all CardanoThor & community content, updates, and discussion.
One of the most significant changes we are making moving forward is how the server will be operated. Instead of being run by CardanoThor, it will be transformed into an increasingly decentralized community server. As you gain experience and rank as a Viking, you will not only have the ability to contribute but also make meaningful decisions for the community.
This does not mean that CardanoThor is going anywhere. On the contrary, this will allow him to provide more value to the community in other areas.
As we develop the Viking Hoard DAO, we will keep our broader goal in mind: to foster a truly decentralized community governed by the Cardano blockchain. The progress we make in the governance mechanism of the Viking Hoard will be fully utilized to improve the decision-making process of the Viking Squad generally, where individual merit and community consensus will guide our direction.
But this will take time. For the time being, the community has the following hierarchy:
The official Viking Squad team consists of CardanoThor and other Vikings who are responsible for moving the project forward. Currently, the team consists of CardanoThor, Chief Operating Officer, Creative Director, and a Community Manager.
This is a group of the most active and valuable community members. They will have direct access to the team and can provide answers to the general community. They have full control over the Research Realm and enjoy various benefits in return for their time and commitment:

Members of CT793 can submit proposals anytime and have a louder voice when it comes to shaping the direction of the community. They can also have their opinions heard by participating in community voting.
